NPC Worldwide Romania Muscle Fest Amateur 2020: Pantelis Stavroulakis, 2nd (Heavyweight)

Pantelis Stavroulakis competed in Romania with a body weight of 95kg/209lb and put on a very good performance, clinching the 2nd place in the Heavyweight Category among 7 competitors. He is determined to further improve for the next competition in 2021 with the goal of obtaining the IFBB Pro Card.

Ο Παντελής Σταυρουλάκης διαγωνίστηκε στην Ρουμανία με 95kg σωματικού βάρους και έκανε μια πολύ καλή εμφάνιση κατακτώντας την 2η θέση στην Heavyweight Κατηγορία ανάμεσα σε 7 διαγωνιζόμενους.

Είναι αποφασισμένος να βελτειωθεί ακόμα περισσότερο για τον επόμενο αγώνα το 2021 με στόχο να αποκτήσει την επαγγελματική Κάρτα.

Amateur Super-Heavyweight bodybuilder Vangelis Mourtziapis - Βαγγέλης Μουρτζιάπης

Vangelis Mourtziapis is a Super-Heavyweight bodybuilder who lives in Agrinio, Western Greece. He was born in 1987 and has been training since the age of 9. He initially pursued track and field (middle-distance running and hurdles) until the age of 21, achieving numerous distinctions. Later on, he transitioned to boxing while simultaneously starting weightlifting. In recent years, Vangelis has dedicated himself to bodybuilding, training 6 days a week, and he is quite huge (184cm/112kg). As he has stated, especially during the winter, he enjoys pushing his limits, lifting heavy weights with intense workouts reminiscent of a powerlifter! He hasn't competed in bodybuilding competitions yet, but with proper guidance and preparation, he plans to make a spectacular appearance on stage in the future. His favorite athlete is Dorian Yates.

Ο Βαγγέλης Μουρτζιάπης είναι ένας βαρέων βαρών σωματοδομητής που ζει στο Αγρίνιο. Γεννήθηκε το 1987 και γυμνάζεται από μικρή ηλικία (9 ετών), ασχολήθηκε με τον στίβο (δρόμοι μεσαίων αποστάσεων και στιπλ) μέχρι τα 21 του με πολλές διακρίσεις. Στην συνέχεια ασχολήθηκε με την πυγμαχία ενώ ταυτόχρονα ξεκίνησε την γυμναστική με βάρη.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια ο Βαγγέλης έχει αφιερωθεί στο bodybuilding, προπονείται 6 ημέρες την εβδομάδα και είναι ένας αθλητής αρκετά σωματώδης (184cm/112kg). Όπως μας έχει δηλώσει, ειδικά τον χειμώνα, του αρέσει να παίζει πάντα στα όριά του σηκώνοντας πολλά κιλά με δυνατές προπονήσεις που θυμίζουν powerlifter! Δεν έχει κατέβει σε αγώνες bodybuilding αλλά με την σωστή καθοδήγηση και με την κατάλληλη προετοιμασία είναι στα μελλοντικά του σχέδια να κάνει μια εντυπωσιακή εμφάνιση πάνω στη σκηνή. Αγαπημένος του αθλητής είναι ο Dorian Yates.

NPC Worldwide European Championships 2020: Greek-Cypriot bodybuilder Andreas Christou wins the IFBB Pro Card!

Andreas Christou was born in 1995 and he is from Larnaca, Cyprus. He started competitive bodybuilding at the age of 16, and in 2018, he won the overall title of Mr. Cyprus in the Juniors Category. From the beginning, his dream was to earn the IFBB Pro Card. 2020 was his year! He won in the Amateur Category (-80kg) of the NPC Worldwide European Championships in Spain, and then won one of the 3 Cards awarded in the Overall category.

O Ανδρέας Χρήστου γεννήθηκε το 1995 και είναι από την Λάρνακα. Ξεκίνησε το αγωνιστικό bodybuilding από ηλικία 16 ετών και το 2018 κέρδισε τον Γενικό Τίτλο Mr. Cyprus στους Juniors. Από την αρχή το όνειρό του ήταν μια μέρα να αποκτήσει την επαγγελματική κάρτα της IFBB. Το 2020 ήταν η χρονιά του! Κέρδισε στην Κατηγορία των ερασιτεχνών (-80kg) του NPC Worldwide European Championships στην Ισπανία και στην συνέχεια πήρε μια από τις 3 κάρτες που δόθηκαν στον Γενικό.

Ο νεαρός αθλητής από την Κύπρο μετά από σκληρή δουλειά, πολύ μεγάλη προσπάθεια και ταλαιπωρία λόγω πανδημίας με ακυρώσεις αγώνων, τελικά τα κατάφερε.
